Ireland is exactly how you picture it in your mind.  Mountains carpeted in soft green, hand laid stone walls edging quiet country lanes, Georgian architecture, and even the ubiquitous postcard perfect shepherds with their sheep.  It’s a country where you can’t escape the importance of its landscape, whether natural or political. Their past holds fast amongst their music, storytelling, and many lifetimes of struggles.  My time in Ireland was spent experiencing all of these things and making a lot of new friends, whether it was for the entire length of my stay or for just a song or two.
